The Core Energetics is an evolutionary process involving all dimensions of the human being: body, emotions, mind, will and spirituality.
The Core Energetics method, as defined by the founder
John Pierrakos himself, is an “education in inner reality”, a course that can help you to feel and recognize your life force, your CORE, and to act from it.
The Core Energetics is an evolutionary path combining physical, verbal and mental techniques to increase your awareness and serenity and lead you to have greater personal satisfaction. The practice of Core Energetics in Feel Free includes:
- physical exercises and breathing
- use of voice
- short final meditation
Core Energetics sessions last
90 minutes. At the end, there is always a brief moment of sharing and giving back, in which it is possible to ask questions and receive indications on how to integrate the practice of Core Energetics into everyday life.
Kundalini Yoga
Find your focus again
The Kundalini Yoga that we practice within the Feel Free path is inspired by the practice of Yogi Bhajan, an Indian master who brought his teaching to the United States in the 1960s.
It is a practice combining breath, sound and physical movement to achieve a state of deep relaxation and centring.
This idea was started by the
spiritual practitioner called Kundalini, with the intention of moving and releasing energy in. It is said that when this energy is released, and channelled, it determines a physical, mental and spiritual well-being capable of generating greater empathy, creativity, charisma, vital energy and, at the same time, inner peace.
How does a Kundalini Yoga class in Feel Free work? We usually start with a moment of silence, listening and centring our body. Then, we move on to the warm-up in which we perform simple bodyweight gymnastic movements, followed by the Kundalini Yoga sequence taught by
Yogi Bhajan. We conclude a class with a phase of guided relaxation and meditation.
The sessions last
90 minutes. At the end there is always a moment of sharing and giving back, in which it is possible to ask questions and receive indications on how to integrate the practice into our daily life.
Meditation
Be present in the here and now
Meditation means learning to observe our thoughts and emotional feelings without judgment, to understand how we function and what we really need.
With meditation you can learn to be present here and now, without reacting automatically and mechanically to what happens in an outer world.
Meditation brings many benefits, including:
- Stress reduction
- Better management of anxiety
- Greater ability to focus and body awareness
- Increase in the level of attention
- Greater capacity for empathy and relationship with each other
- Improvement in the general health
We shall stop here, but the list goes on and on. There are so many ways and so many methods to meditate.
Within the Feel Free course, meditation is a fundamental practice for your inner growth.
In our courses, we use different approaches and we use:
- breath
- sound
- dynamic practices
- static practices
- views
How does a Feel Free meditation session work? We usually start with a moment of silence, listening and centring our body. This is followed by the practice of three or four different techniques, which can last from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 11 minutes, to give the practitioner the opportunity to derive the maximum benefit from
